1.transport n. 运送;运输

v. 运输;运送

The goods were damaged during transport.

Most of our luggage was transported by sea.

2.prefer v. 更喜欢;选择某物(而不选其它的)

e.g.I prefer jazz to rock music.

While he was in the office, he preferred doing something to doing nothing.

He offered to drive us to the cinema, but we preferred to walk.

At the moment, he preferred not to think about the future.

It’s a long journey, so I preferred to take a train rather than take a bus.

They would prefer the matter to be discussed at the next meeting.

3.disadvantage n. 不利条件,不便之处

She tried to stop the flow of flood from the wound.

5.persuade v. 说服,劝说

The salesman persuaded us to buy the product.

9.stubborn adj. 顽固的,固执的

10.organize vt. 组织,成立

11.journey n.旅行,旅程

12.determine v. 决定;确定;下定决心

13.attitude n. 态度,看法

altitude n. 海拔高度,高处

14.reliable adj. 可信赖的,可靠的

We are looking for someone who is reliable and hard-working.
